Caitlin completed pupillage in September 2026 under the Supervision of James Goodwin.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Caitlin worked as a Legal Assistant for a local authority within its Children and Public Law Team, where she developed a practical understanding of care proceedings and Local Authority proceedings in the Court of Protection.
Caitlin is interested in all of chamber’s practice areas with a particular interest in Public and Private law children’s proceedings.

During her studies, Caitlin has shown an interest in promoting the access to justice for vulnerable individuals, writing Dissertations on sexual abuse victims ‘Nature or nurture, why is the conviction rate for rape and sexual assault in England and Wales so low?’ at Undergraduate level and Domestic Abuse Victims ‘victimised twice: to what extent do private and public law proceedings revictimise victims of domestic abuse’ at Masters level.
As an undergraduate, Caitlin competed in various advocacy competitions which included competing in both the Supreme Court and the Old Bailey, culminating in winning the University of Manchester Main Moot in the Supreme Court, as judged by His Honour Judge Leggatt.
Alongside her studies, Caitlin served as President of the University of Manchester Bar and Advocacy Society, where she helped create opportunities for aspiring barristers to compete in advocacy competitions and attend educational events. This leadership role reflects Caitlin’s dedication to supporting the next generation of students pursuing the Bar.
