We are thrilled to welcome Chloe Lee back to chambers.

Following a period of Parental Leave, Chloe Lee returns to practice with immediate effect.  Chloe’s practice spans both Public Law Children and Court of Protection; Health and Welfare cases, with a particular expertise in the Deprivation of Liberty of Children and is noted as a “Rising Star” by the Legal 500.

Her expertise spans a range of complex issues including; serious medical treatment, physical and chemical restraint, coercion and control, capacity/consent, best interests’ disputes, contact restrictions, and challenges to contact arrangements, as well as cases involving Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act crossovers. She regularly deals with transitional cases for young people in the care system who are moving under the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection.

Chloe is the co-author of a book recently published by Bloomsbury ‘The Deprivation of Liberty of Children and Young People’. She also co-edits the Mental Capacity Act 2005 chapter of the Butterworths Family Law Service.

We are sure Chloe will have continued success following her return to practice.
