Leigh joined Chambers in October 2010 as the Senior Clerk. He has been a Barristers Clerk since 1995, starting out at Regent Chambers in Stoke-on-Trent and was rapidly promoted to the position of Senior Clerk by the age of just 21, then from 1997 until he joined Spire Barristers he was the Senior Criminal Clerk at Deans Court Chambers in Manchester.
He is a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks and a member of the Legal Practice Managers Association, Chartered Institute of Marketing and Lawyers for Children.
Outside of Chambers Leigh's interests include live music, strength training, rugby union (RFU Licensed Coach for U15's at Huddersfield RUFC and RFU ELRA Rugby Referee), golf and football.
