Georgina Dalton

Georgina commenced a family and public law pupillage at Chambers in September 2020.

Georgina has experience in supporting vulnerable clients throughout the court process after volunteering with ‘Support through court’ whilst undertaking the BPTC. The cases involved divorce proceedings and applications for non-molestation orders.

Georgina has also volunteered with other charities in the community including ‘The Mix’ and ‘Jigsaw’, which support vulnerable people and those with disabilities.

In the year before commencing pupillage, Georgina contributed to Spire’s Family Law Newsletter twice a month, providing her with an up to date knowledge of many discrete areas of family law.

Georgina is currently completing a dissertation on secure accommodation orders and has a thorough understanding and a specific interest in this area of law.

In 2018 and 2019 Georgina was the winner of the ‘Aspire Award’ and now works alongside ‘The Guinness Partnership’ to promote the award which enables people to fund their desired career paths.

Having attended drama classes for 12 years, Georgina has a keen interest in acting. In the past she was an extra in shows such as ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Waterloo Road’.

Georgina is also actively learning to speak French.
